Tooth-Colored Fillings

When a small cavity or chipped tooth occurs, Dr. Osterhoudt can apply a tooth-colored filling. This conservative approach allows you to keep more of your natural enamel and structure because of the composite resin that is used. Malleable and capable of being color-matched, the material easily blends into the enamel to create a seamless appearance and ensures a fully functional and more durable smile you can enjoy for more than a decade.
Dental Crowns

When a tooth-colored filling is not enough to repair the level of damage or decay a tooth sustains, we may suggest a customized dental crown. Made from zirconia or Emax to create a more lifelike appearance, the crown (also known as a cap) fits over the entire tooth to deliver maximum protection against future reinfection and harm. Not only can it withstand daily wear and tear, but it can remain in place for 15+ years with the right level of care.
CEREC Same-Day Dental Crowns

Traditional dental crowns can take weeks to be created and put into place. However, with CEREC technology, Dr. Osterhoudt can provide same-day crowns instead. Using CAD/CAM software and advanced dental solutions, this custom restoration can be crafted using the digital impression system that captures the 3D model of your tooth and sends it to the in-house milling unit for fabrication. All of this happens while you wait, letting you leave with a fully restored smile in just hours.
